Thoughtful Touches

This property is set up perfectly for parents with children or for folks who each need their own space. Four bedrooms and three full bathrooms! Modernized home with lots of thoughtful touches that made our stay comfortable.

Housing for rowing camp at lake

We were a group of 4 rowers up from Miami. This was a modest but well-equipped cottage. Host was great, very responsive and helpful. Kitchen is nice, with most things you would need including utensils, spices, sugar and the like. Bedrooms are small, with 2 having bunk beds and sharing a bath. Baths were remodeled but when 4 sweaty athletes come back and need to shower at once before dinner, hot water ran out. It was good for our purpose, as we basically just slept there but otherwise spent little time there.

DeLand House

Exactly as listed, and very convenient. The house is configured to allow for a very comfortable stay, with the multiple bedrooms, large living area and well stocked kitchen. Additional amenities such as a pool, hot tub with TV, and easy access to the downtown Deland area make this a very flexible location.

Perfect for our needs and very clean

Just what our family of 5 needed for our two night stay. We didn't use the kitchen or the backyard amenities because of our schedule, but the kitchen looked to be well equipped. There are enough beds to sleep 8 people and it was nice to have 3 full baths. A couple of things to note: the bedroom window blinds are translucent, so sleep masks were a must for us. Also, the extra charge for more than 4 people in a place with so many beds seems excessive. But we had a nice stay and Joshua was a great host.

Excellent Place

Joshua was great communication was excellent. Let us check in early and was cool when we woke up late and over stayed the 11am check out. House was clean and just. I highly recommend this place and will rent again. Everything was there from freezer full of ice bags to laundry detergent the outside tv was great as well… my only issue is check out is 11am at 11:12am I left for a quick store run the cleaning lady just walked in while my family were sleep startled my mother in law and daughters I got a panicked phone call about an intruder and I was back in two minutes to fine the cleaning ripping sheets off the beds she told me 11 means 11 you need to get out I have to clean I asked her politely to leave for 20 minutes as my daughters need to changed and get dress she was upset mumbled under her breath proceed to do laundry then left. In all fairness check out is 11am and we weren’t even pack to leave however I am armed traveling security and random people just entering without knocking …overall 5 stars great time

small but clean

The rental house was smaller than we thought, but clean. Just make sure to check the house rules for extra charges as we didn't see that. The owner let my brother in law and family check in an hour early to make the "meet and greet" at our family reunion, appreciated that.
