Perfect location
This house was just as it is listed: beautiful, and plenty of space. We were glad we rented the entire house for our family. The downstairs was perfect for my 84 year old mother. If we had only rented the upstairs, the front entry to get inside would have been terrifying for us to watch my mother navigate. Also, the European VRBO/Belvilla checkin & checkout process is VERY different from the US. We actually met the owner in person to get the key(s). She stayed and went over a few things with my mother (while we went to get food) for over an hour. A lil’ frustrating since we had been traveling for 24 hours. With her visit to exchange keys, she also asked if it was okay for her to stop by to water occasionally. We figured she would give us a heads up, but nope they were surprise visits. Also, no house rules/checkout procedures listed anywhere. On the last evening my mother found house rules some random drawer in the bottom unit, but no checkout protocols listed. It took several emails into VRBO & Belvilla with no resolve other than leave it how you found it (little too vague for me). As mentioned, she stopped by to water while my husband & I were gone & my mom was finally able to get confirmation on the check out process. Basically if we wanted to start the dishwasher if we wanted and leave the key inside. That was a relief with the checkout time (10am). I would recommend this place to a young family and not for anyone who has ADA needs.
