The rooms were very clean and the breakfast wholesome. The room's lighting was so complicated that I had to switch every light off; the lights were still on at night, so I had to take the key out, which meant I needed my phone's light to go to the toilet. It is a typical room design, if a little cramped.

It was supposed to be a 5 star hotel but their rooms are bog standard tasteless. Even Budget hotels in UK like Premier Inn or Travel Lodge have better and cleaner rooms than this hotel. The prices of tea and coffee were extortionate. All in all, it is a very basic hotel! Location was good as close to Connaught place but apart from that everything is just basic budget hotel quality. Also, Wi-fi is crap..they think wi-fi is some sort of gold dust restricted to only on 2 devices and a lowly 1 Mbps speed and they call their hotel 5 star!!! It is a 0 star for me

At check-in, the bellboy stood waiting for a tip in a way that felt almost defiant. I had no issue tipping, and of course I did, but I was also struck by how openly another staff member complained about low wages and expected money, even in front of a supervisor who seemed to accept it as normal. It would be so much better if tipping could remain a gesture of appreciation, something dignifying for everyone, rather than a necessity born from difficult working conditions. Bad vibe in general. The stretch of street you might walk along to reach the livelier intersection leading to Connaught Place can feel a bit out of place, with homeless people and stray dogs around. It was uncomfortable at times, but I never felt threatened.
