When we booked the room it was not clear that we were sharing the basement area with another guest. I did not feel safe because my daughter and I were sharing a bathroom with a man we did not know. There were other minor issues with the facilities; the toilet seat had a large crack. Laundry was provided as advertised but was tucked into the back of a dark and messy utility room that was hard to get around and what was presumably chipped plaster on the floor which hurt to step on.

The stay was great. A little awkward when another guest rents at the same time and have to share common area and bathroom. Overall, really great hosts and nice place and location.

Friendly host, but not what I expected

I stayed at this property for 6 nights. The property is easily located off of a main road, so there is easy access to travel wherever needed. However, the property was not what I expected when I made the reservation. You have to enter the house of the host and access a set of stairs to the basement where you are staying. The host has 2 young children and you can hear them through the floor. Also, there were stains on the wall and the kitchenette area needed cleaning. The kitchenette is shared by you and guests staying in another room rental in the basement.

Comfortable, clean, and almost perfectly quiet

Great stay and comfortable bed. Nice family and house. The basement muffles the noise of the kids. Just not perfectly. I'd stay there again for sure.
