My daughter and I popped out of the Denver metro area, where we live, for a mini holiday. We went skiing at Echo mountain for two days which is less than 30 minutes away from this property- it was perfect!! Nicely priced and perfect sized mountain, especially for new skiers. The “rustic” barn home was brand new, clean, well designed, perfect for a couple, or a girls get- away. Full kitchen, GORGEOUS views and just far enough out of town to feel “away.” Alex, the owner, was accommodating, friendly, responsive, and supportive. We didn’t need anything as everything was there and ready to go- just as advertised. We enjoyed the entire interior of the home, but what we enjoyed best was the several places to sit by the babbling stream that runs along the property. We ventured out for a nature walk one evening and one morning. We saw lots of remanence of elk and deer. We swung in the hammock and listened to nature, the birds and the breeze, easily took us away from life for a moment while on this short holiday. The bed and bedding was soft, cozy, comfortable, and warm, just like we like it. We slept with the upstairs bedroom window cracked and the soft sound of chitter chatter between the birds softly woke us up each morning. I can not recommend working with Alex and enjoying their property highly enough. We enjoyed your hospitality and your lovely space. Thank you. This property is exactly why people say Colorado is magical.
