Spacious basement apartment abutting Apex Park up on beautiful Lookout Mountain with large yard and beautiful patio. Great location as you are close to Denver and Red Rocks yet up in the peaceful mountains! The apartment is completely separate from the main house and is truly a get-a-way escape from it all. You can also work from the unit with excellent internet service.

The 1,700 square foot unit includes a family room with smart t.v., dining area, fully stocked kitchen, laundry, patio, cell and wifi coverage with speeds up to 400 Mbps.

The first bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has one queen bed and a twin day bed.

Outdoor patio with seating to enjoy the views and your morning coffee. Or strike up the BBQ grill for dinner and drinks while the sun is setting.

Denver Airport is 45 minutes away. Downtown Denver is 30 minutes and Red Rocks Ampitheater, Golden and Evergreen are just 15 minutes away. Many world class ski areas within an hours drive.

The property was as advertised; peaceful and clean and scenic. Sitting on the back porch with coffee or adult beverage, enjoying the bucolic view, was a particular delight. Access to Red Rocks was a breeze. We even saw a flock of wild turkeys.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Mountain Meadows. The check-in was flawless, accommodations were better than pictured, television apps were available, and the place was cooled upon arrival. All areas of the rental were exceptionally clean!! Communication was wonderful and directions to the location were spot-on. We spent most of our free time sitting on the porch enjoying the view and the natural surroundings. Thank you.

Serene with beautiful views

The listing is very accurate. There is so much to like about this property. Wildlife is abundant and the room layout is practical. It’s close to civilization but such a nice retreat. All the appliances worked well and the patio furniture seemed brand new. There is also a delicious French bakery just a few minutes drive from here. We enjoyed hilly walks in the neighborhood. The views are truly unbeatable.

Loved every second we stayed here. This place is so awesome, it’s got that little extra so I give it an 11. Incredibly quiet, peaceful and beautiful scenery everywhere you look. A very ahort drive to Red Rocks. This is the place I will be staying when I visit CO next time!

Awesome Place

The property was great, we had everything we needed, the setting was very peaceful and serene. The owners were great, very responsive and even texted us when a herd of bison was nearby. We saw elk and mule deer every day of our stay in the pastures behind the house. The patio area was great for morning coffee and afternoon beverages. The location was great with hiking trails nearby, and Golden and Red Rocks very close. We had a great stay. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at this property and wish we could have stayed longer. Everything was clean and the view incredible. The only "negative" would be if you are not comfortable driving up the mountain road, especially at night. Just something to be aware of if that is the case. If not, definitely consider booking this beautiful property.

Colorado Getaway

We LOVED this location. So much so that we will try to stay here every time we visit. We have family in Golden, CO and they are going to recommend it to all visitors. The lodging was nice, but the views were AMAZING. Also, the heard of Elk roaming through the yard were incredible. When we visited, the weather was awesome, but I could see snow & ice making this location hard to reach, since it is nestled in the hills. 10/10 could not recommend enough.

Quiet, beautiful retreat

Beautiful, quiet property to rest and recharge. Comfortable furnishings, nice kitchen if you chose to cook, and views for days. A perfect location to explore all of the surrounding areas - from Vail and Breckenridge down to Morrison, Evergreen, and Golden. Had a great visit - can’t wait to return!

Everything was amazing. Great views on our way up. Very fast and clear communication with the host. Very quiet and tranquil location in the hill just outside of the city just minutes from I-70 and Golden. Unit was immaculate, nice furnishings and patio. A herd of Elk were seen the first day which was a huge bonus for some of us that had never seen them before.

Amazing!

Becky was the best host! Super responsive and accommodating which made our family gathering priceless! This place was exactly what we needed after a wedding celebration in Estes Park. We entertained during our stay and this place was equipped with everything we needed. Location is a short drive to everything. Great trail hike nearby as well! Loved this place!
