This is an understaffed hotel. Our bathroom and bedsheets were clean. Desk hosts and maids are kind, friendly, extremely hard working. Nice big room. Warm outdoor pool.
Two big problems: 1. Carpets in hallway and bedroom had dog diarrhea/poop stains in MANY locations on 4th Floor. Main floor TP empty. If you charge so much extra for a pet, use the money and hire an overseer for these things. 2. Only one person serving breakfast. Both mornings I had to ask for plates, and bowls, and hot water/coffee (hot water broken first day), and silverware, and orange juice, and oatmeal. We had to sit at high seating for 4 with only two chairs that are high, so two of us sat in low chairs (other tables full). Waffle mix drizzled out like a thread first morning--a true thread size. 2nd morning it busted and a lake of waffle batter on counter. Only one waffle heater. Juice machine broken. Was asked for dirty breakfast plates 5 minutes after 9:30 serving cut off--rushed us after all that! With teen kids, they like to sleep in and then we talk over breakfast for 30 minutes. Never a problem until this hotel. Server worked so hard--but serving too many guests for one worker. Heard 100's of plates (yes, for one worker) clanging the whole breakfast while she loaded/unloaded dishwasher to keep up. Did she wash hands before handling food again? Use paper plates when understaffed. Breakfast was not relaxing or peaceful to talk. Not the workers fault.
