I will never stay here again. Things that when I walk into the room that needed to be fixed 1 Fire place did not work . They said they would get it fixed but I told them not to do to I would not be in room. 2. Ceiling fan chain broken off .3. A trickle of hot water in bathroom sink they could not fixed this at all due to being remodeled. 4. Shower turn on head completely stripped had to pull head down hard to turn on shower. I ended up paying $488 for 2 night in a room that at that priced should have been fixed before I walked into the room. I can’t believe they would charge that much for a room in the condition it was in. Very bad business procedures.With that many things wrong with the room I cannot give them a rating everything besides zero the most important thing is a room and the room doesn’t need standards. Then everything about the whole experience does not need standards.

Bathroom was filthy, room in general not very clean. Beds were hard. Pool had mold. Grounds were poorly maintained and lots of visible trash. However, the staff were very friendly and professional. The views and private beach access was amazing.

Condition of room was not acceptable. One of the small windows was glued shut. The other small window you to manually push out. The shower had a chunk broken out at the floor level. It was dirty and a real eye sore. We only stayed because the bed was fresh and clean. We picked this place for the view and that was the only positive. Owner should be embarrassed by the condition of this property!

Beautiful views!

The view from our room was amazing!! We loved the little sitting area outside our room so we could take in the view. Front desk was polite and friendly. The property is quiet and there’s plenty of parking. Very pet-friendly! My ONLY criticism of the room was cleanliness. The floor definitely needed to be swept and mopped, and the tops of the baseboard heaters were dirty. The bathroom was okay but the shower needed to be wiped down more. If I knew the cleanliness of the rooms was stepped up, I would 100% stay here again!

Amazing View

We had a great time on our vacation. The view from our room was amazing. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching and listening to the waves. We liked the location of the property as well. It is outside of town, but close enough to the things we were interested in. We were disappointed that the restaurant is permanently closed but that seems to be the case with many restaurants in the area since Covid. Having the room serviced by housekeeping was only by request so no daily cleaning. No daily service was fine for us. It’s easy enough to request fresh towels. We stayed in the adults only building which was nice. We thought it would be super quiet but near by guests were playing music extremely loud. Fortunately that didn’t go on too late so it was fine. We would definitely recommend this property to others.

We really liked the views. That was the best part. We also liked having a fireplace and appreciated having our elderly dog with us. We were disappointed with there being no restaurant or breakfast. The pool was a good temperature but needed some serious renovations. Our room was decent but we found earwigs everywhere. The price was very reasonable, and these are the reasons why. The hotel is on schedule to be rebuilt at some time.

Disappointing remodel

I stayed here last year. It was pretty shabby but they said they were closing to remodel. They didn't remodel much! The floors were the same, the bathroom was still really basic, and the furniture was either the same or already damaged. It looked like they did repaint the exterior and interior but whoever did it managed to dribble white paint on the blue and gray walls. The bed was very uncomfortable so I don't think they replaced the mattresses. It's also quite noisy if there's someone staying in the room above yours. On the plus side, the view is till pretty fabulous and even though they closed the restaurant, they kept the pool.

The view of the beach was amazing. The restaurant on site has been permanently closed, the washer and dryer were out of order. We were also able to hear every step from the person above us, and hear them snoring at night. There was a fireplace in the room, which we enjoyed. There was also ample parking perfect if traveling with a trailer or RV.
