Breadsall Priory review.
Our stay was lovely. However not as relaxing / enjoyable as other Marriott’s we have stayed at. Due to:-
1. Not enough staff to service the bar. Had to wait 20 mins to order a cup of coffee and then gave up.
2. No supervision of too many children in spa causing havoc and a lot of noise.
3. No drinking cups at water station.
4. Spa area not clean / people allowed to wander in / out in shoes.
5. Showers not clean or serviced as had hair and litter in.
6. No credit card details taken at check in so couldn’t charge bar / food to room.
7. Lots of steps and no lift to so made it difficult to access all areas if have mobility issues.
8. Lots of staff seem young / inexperienced. I asked for some cups to use the one fountain in spa and was told to go into bar in my wet costume and a towel.
9. No body servicing the outside area for drinks / food.
10. Rooms were clean but lots of corridors and steps / stairs up and down to get to reception / restaurant.
