The indoor pool was ideal for the kids because of the time of year we stayed there but the room left a lot to e desired. Outdated and in disrepair, and not the cleanest.

This is an older building so I won't pretend it's a newer 5 star hotel. With that in mind they do an excellent job of keeping it clean, comfortable, and efficient and the service is excellent. We had a studio and an efficiency type kitchenette which was more convenient than a hotel and the price was less so even though my husband and I usually stay in Hyatts and Hiltons we were pleasantly surprised and it was more convenient than the Hyatt we just came from which didn't even have a microwave. So yes, you can tell the building is older but they do a really great job of making it a very satisfactory experience. I even forgot my sunglasses and they found them in my room and held them for me so I'm very happy with the experience and I slept well.

Great location, close to just about everything on the emerald coast. The amenities were awesome in case you’re burned out of the beach. Rooms were big and stocked with everything and anything. Housekeeping brought us fresh towels regularly and changed our sheets. We got a great deal so for the price it’s impossible to beat.

Great location and spacious rooms.

The condo was great and spacious. They drain and clean the pools on Sundays which is a slight inconvenience if you are stay through Monday and looking to spend time in the pool and the pool opens back up at 12pm. We Went to the hot tub around 6 pm and the jets were blowing cold water the pool was the same temp if not slightly warmer than the hot tub. The front desk told us it takes a while to heat up. There was people in the pool playing and yelling at 2:00 am in the morning. The front room does not have black out curtains and the sun beams in around 5:30 / 6:00 am so don’t plan on sleeping in much. All rooms are non smoking so try not to get a room next to the stairs as that’s where Somerset go to sit and enjoy a cigarette. Constantly walking through smoke is never enjoyable either. Other than these issues the hotel staff was ver friendly the place inside was clean and spacious. This is a great location as it’s in the center of a lot of great restaurants and fun places to visit.

We left the property an hour after check-in. This is a nicer MOTEL. If you’re desperate, it’s an okay place, but not vacation quality. First glance of the motel’s exterior was questionable… lobby was pretty, quiet, and inviting… getting to our MOTEL room felt odd (walked out the front lobby took outside stairwell to get to second floor)… motel room smelled of chlorine and gave “landlord special” vibes and “hidden camera in the vents” vibes… tried to take hot shower but water never got above lukewarm… worker at front desk kept pressuring us to take a tour when we didn’t want to nor have the time… We decided we’d rather leave and lose our money than stay here (that should say a lot)… when on vacation the quality of where you stay does matter and this is not a good quality place to stay…

The room was cute, but the listing was misleading. Yes, technically the beach is a 5min walk but you do not have access to it, we had to drive to a beach. It's more of a hotel style than a condo. We were excited about the indoor pool bud decided not to use it because of the Chlorine smell. We nearly left the first night we were there because the Chlorine smell was so bad in our room. Lessen the amount of Chlorine and be more transparent about the beach access, and i believe expectations vs experience will be closer to the same.

I think the stay was worth while, nice and what it lacks in asthetics it makes up for in amenities. One caveat is that there was a $100 deposit i was unaware of but still worth the trip.
