The property itself was very nice. Our only downfall for this stay was the room smelled very badly of cigarettes, especially in the only bathroom in the room. We have kids and sensitive allergy adults, so we had a tough time overnight. The pool was also too chlorinated, and was tough to swim with the chemicals. Aside from that, wonderful stay with very nice guest and shuttle service.

My family stays here 4-5 times a year visiting my son his wife and family! My grands enjoy the pancakes and the pool. Our rooms are always clean and we're able to park for free. The front desk staff is always friendly and in my experience professional. Very family friendly.

The reason i gave 4 stars is because we had never stayed at an Embassy Suites before and things were not explained to us when we arrived. Like the the fact that happy hour is 530-7pm and you get 2 adult beverages for free, and there are snacks available. Also, our furnace didn't work, so we had to switch rooms the second night. Overall, it was a great experience and would stay in one again.

Conveniently located near DTW with free airport shuttle. Rooms and common area were clean and updated. Service at the restaurant/bar was good, but the food was subpar. I would stay here again if I had to take an early flight out of DTW again.
