Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum can be found just over 5 miles away, where there are around 65 aircraft on display, some outside, as well as artefacts and exhibits for you to explore. Head to the famous Southwold, home to Adnams Brewery where you can have a tour and tasting session, an array of independent shops, the quintessential pier, and the beach lined with brightly coloured beach huts. Aldeburgh is famous for its fish and chip shop so get there early as it is very popular! Thorpeness set around the mere is worth a visit, hire a boat and see the islands named after Peter Pan characters or take in a spot of golf.
