We had a great room. Nice and warm. Great bed and pillows.. Buffet breakfast excellent. We went off season and managed to use the pool, which is an unusual design and only 6 people allowed in the pool at same time so not sure how useful in the summer. We were with family - 6 of us, so we had pool to ourselves and the children loved it.

Convenient stay on the island

Stayed in the older part of the hotel which was a little run down, but we had a spacious room, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, lovely view from the restaurant. Great location and staff really helpful.

Good but .....

The hotel, which I have used a few times, feels a little tired with some communal areas looking quite shabby ( toilets on floor 1 as an example ). The service was good and helpful. Breakfast excellent , although as a family we were a little concerned that too much had been made available and commented to each other on the potential waste.

Lovely property,went over new year and was peaceful and quiet, had pool to ourself one day, staff amazing, polite, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast had a great selection and great views out of the window. Would definately visit again! Thankyou The Sefton!

Noisy and unfortunate experience.

Room location next to the boiler exhaust was irritable and on looking out the window the scaffolding was the only view. However the decider was on leaving some prints in the room on checkout they were not recoverable and no word was received from the hotel.
