Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place located just a half mile from the downtown.
Welcome to this newly completed secondary unit that includes a full kitchen, kitchen island, living space, desk, and bedroom. I want to provide a comfortable and stylish setting for guests that would rival some hotels while making you feel like you are home.
While here, you relax on the patio and light up the fire pit for an evening coffee or refreshment. I store it during the winter, but I can take it out if you enjoy the bitter frost!
Additionally, I listed the parking as “on street” just to be fair and not to appear deceitful. You are more than welcome to utilize the driveway as long as you let me know so my car does not get blocked in for your stay. Guests staying for more than a week can also utilize my washer/dryer for a load or two but it’s on the top floor so I just need a heads up.
PS: my dog is super friendly. You’re welcome to request a visit from him!
On-street parking is readily available and free. You can park on the right side of my driveway as long as you let me know before so I can prepare.
I am within walking distance to the local bus (including UNH), the train station, and downtown. I highly recommend walking to downtown (0.5 miles) and driving everywhere else.
I am here for whatever you need but will give you space during your visit. I will check in via text or message once you arrive, but I’m available.
Located within a half mile to Dover, NH with proper sidewalks.
I recommend a car if traveling to any place outside downtown Dover. You can walk downtown or the nearby bakery (Dustin’s). Also, I am located about 0.75 miles from the train station and a half block to a bus stop so you can get around via public transit if you need it, but a car would be more practical due to lack of regular service.
The living area is located directly next to the room housing the heater/furnace (walled off, of course), which some might find distracting. I tested the noise and was able to comfortably watch tv. I find it no different than most heaters or AC units in a hotel.
-Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property. Evidence of smoking inside the property may result in a $250 violation fee, plus any related cleaning, repair, or damage costs.
-Parties and events are not permitted. Unauthorized parties, events, or large gatherings may result in a fee of $100 per unauthorized guest, plus any related damages, and may result in cancellation of the reservation without refund.
-Only registered guests included on the reservation are permitted at the property unless approved in writing before arrival. Unauthorized additional guests may result in a fee of $100 per guest, per night, and/or cancellation of the reservation without refund.
-Pets are only permitted when included on the reservation and approved before check-in.
-Pet waste must be cleaned up immediately. If pet waste is left on the property, a $50 fee may be charged per occurrence.
-Fireworks are strictly prohibited. If fireworks are used, discovered, or reported, we may contact local authorities, require the reservation to end immediately, and charge a $500 violation fee, plus any related damages.
-Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. During quiet hours, guests must keep noise to a respectful level inside and outside the property. Excessive noise, neighbor complaints, police response, or repeated disturbances may result in cancellation of the reservation without refund and/or additional fees.
-Check-in and checkout times must be followed unless an early check-in or late checkout has been approved in writing. Unauthorized early arrival or late checkout may result in additional fees and may interfere with scheduled cleaning or maintenance.
-Additionally - Unauthorized late checkout may result in a fee of $50 per 30 minutes, plus any costs caused by delayed cleaning, maintenance, or the next guest’s arrival.
-Guests must report any damage, broken items, leaks, stains, or maintenance issues as soon as they are discovered. Guests may be responsible for damage, missing items, excessive cleaning, or repair costs caused during the stay.
-Guests may not disable, cover, remove, unplug, or tamper with smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, exterior security devices, noise monitoring devices, Wi-Fi equipment, smart locks, thermostats, pool equipment, or other property systems. Tampering with safety or security equipment may result in additional fees and/or cancellation of the reservation.
-Illegal activity is strictly prohibited anywhere on the property. Any suspected illegal activity may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation and notification of local authorities.
