Gorgeous home and setting

We loved staying at Mas des Collines, and would definitely come back! The house was ideal - peaceful, very comfortable, and perfectly arranged, with plenty of space inside and out, including the shaded patio, a fabulous pool area, and a good-sized kitchen with everything you could need. We were four adults and two nine-year-old children, and the layout was ideal, with two full bathrooms and three good-sized bedrooms. Christine's tips on where to visit in the area were super, including lovely hilltop towns, local markets, spots for eating, and where to head for kayaking at the Gorges du Verdon a little further afield. The house is in an area that feels very rural, but with supermarkets, bakeries, etc. just a short drive away, so the best of both worlds. We loved it, and wished we could have stayed even longer!

We got from Christine all important informations what to do and what better not. We were responsible for a problem with the wash machine what could be fixed within 24 hours, very professional! Thank you so much, we will come back one day!

Best week ever

We spent an idyllic week here - it literally could not have been better. The house was as advertised, clean with comfy linens and beds and a kitchen stocked with basics, enough that we cooked simple evening meals most nights. The nearest market was 10 mins and there were several choices of market in a 15 min radius. We also loved Draguignan’s street market and the open air markets in several nearby towns as well. The WiFi was slow but serviceable. The best accoutrement of the house was Christine, though. She was unobtrusive but available, and sat down with us and a map to point out nearby highlights and ideas for sightseeing. We found her suggestions to be spot on and truly informed by our description of how we wanted to spend our time One note about driving though: many, if not most, of the roads in the Var are narrow and wind around tight corners but the scenery is gorgeous.

Relaxing week in Provence

The house was very comfortable and well equipped. Lovely garden with a big pool. Our teenage girls really enjoyed it! We brought our dog and found the house and garden very dog friendly. Nice and cool inside during the day. The bedrooms were all a good size and had fans to keep it cool at night. We enjoyed using the gas BBQ I the evenings. Christine who looks after the property was very helpful and gave us some great ideas for days out. Sorry Christine we didn’t make it to Tourtour next time!! Thank you for a great stay hopefully see you again.

Beautiful house in a quiet setting with plenty to do nearby

We had a very nice week staying at this property new Draguignan at the end of July/beginning of August. The property has three double rooms and two bathrooms, and so had more than enough room for our party of five adults. There is plenty of living space, both inside and outside, and a well equipped kitchen. The pool was a lovely temperature, and was perfect for cooling down in! There are very few other properties nearby, and so it is very quiet and relaxing, particularly at night. There is plenty to do nearby. Christine (who was there to meet us on arrival) is very knowledgeable about the area, speaks decent English and is more than happy to help out with local info. For example, there are lots of Provencal villages to visit and also the Lac de Sainte-Croix and Gorge du Verdon around an hour away. The coast isn't too far away either, but very busy in Jul/Aug. There are a supermarkets for groceries (mainly wine, beer and cheese in our case!) in Draguignan, Les Arcs and other towns in the area. Lots of vineyards too for more wine! Plenty of places for lunch dinner. We had a particularly delicious lunch at L'Abbaye de La Celle near Brignoles (though beware - it isn't cheap). A few things to bear in mind. - In the evenings, in particular, there are lot of mosquitoes outside, particularly the pool. Bring repellent and think about covering up! - It does get very hot, so be prepared for feeling rather warm at night... - There is a modest cleaning/laundry charge (110 EUR cleaning for property, 10 EUR per person for sheets/towels, so 160 EUR for our group of 5) directly payable in cash to the owner. It is mentioned in the property details on the Home and Away website, but we missed it initially so is worth factoring into the total cost when you book. Overall, we would definitely recommend staying at this property if you are after a relaxing break in a beautiful part of Provence!

Prachtig authentiek Provencaals huis. Zwembad en terras, geweldig mooi! Zalige accommodatie in een hele mooie streek. Gezellig interieur, ruime kamers & 2 leuke badkamers. Een hoop uitstappen en activiteiten in deze streek. Gezellige dorpjes en lekkere restaurants in de buurt. Zeer warm & vriendelijk onthaal door Christine. Een aanrader! Gewoonweg zalig.

Die Villa ist wunderschön und der Pool ist sehr gepflegt. Dort kann man herrlich entspannen. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet und wir haben hier zwei tolle Wochen verbracht. In der Umgebung kann man viel unternehmen, bis Saint Tropez und auch bis zum Verdon ist es nicht weit. Christine war sehr zuvorkommend, wir konnten uns immer an sie wenden.

Absolument calme et propre.

Le lieu est magnifique, nous avons passé un super séjour dans ce magnifique mas en pierre. Christine a été là pour nous dès que nous en avions besoin, elle nous a conseillé les meilleurs marchés aux alentours. Le mas est très propre, le jardin idéal pour les enfants, la piscine également. Je recommande à 300%.

Maison très agréable dans laquelle on se sent bien que l’on soit à 6 , 4 ou deux . Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Christine notre hôte qui grâce à ses conseils nous a donné des informations sur la région et les endroits à ne pas rater ! Nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances actives en alternant la farniente à la maison , les visites , les randonnées dans les gorges du Verdon ou près de la villa , les moments passés à la plage . Nous avons découvert un très bel endroit et je pense que nous reviendrons dans les années à venir.

Wir waren (leider nur) eine Woche in dieser wundervollen Unterkunft und haben uns sofort super wohlgefühlt. Christine war eine super Gastgeberin und war jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Stelle. Eignet sich hervorragend als Ausgangsbasis für Tagesausflüge ans Meer (St. Tropez, Nizza, etc.) aber auch ins Landesinnere (Schlucht von Verdon) Gerne wieder, dann aber 10-14 Tage :-)

Traumhaftes französisches Landhaus in ruhiger Lage

Leider haben wir dieses wunderschöne ruhige Haus nur für eine Woche gebucht. Es ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen. Man findet alles, was man braucht. Insbesondere die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir wurden von Christine begrüßt und sie nahm sich viel Zeit für Tipps und um uns die Top-Sehenswürdigkeiten und Tourenvorschläge zu erläutern. Wer gerne kocht, sollte die Bio Gemüsekiste auf keinen Fall verpassen. Christine war eine tolle Gastgeberin und wir haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt. Gerne wieder.

Erholsame Tage und beste Concierges

Wir haben 10 wunderschöne Tage in dem sehr gepflegten typischen Steinhaus, Garten und im Pool verbracht. Christine und ihr Mann hegen und pflegen das Anwesen mit Herzblut und stehen einem jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Sie sind einfach großartig! Wer Urlaub fernab der Stadt verbringen will, ist hier richtig! Gegen Mücken sollte man sich allerdings entsprechend ausrüsten! Die Gegend hat sehr viel zu bieten und verwöhnt mit bezaubernder Atmosphäre und vielen Genüssen. Allerdings ist man auf das Auto angewiesen. Für Urlauber mit Hund ist die Gegend nicht zu empfehlen, da es keine Spazierwege gibt und die Rasenflächen voller Kletten und spitzer Gräser und Dornen sind.

Super erholsamer Urlaub

Ein wundervolles gemütliches Haus. Man ist total für sich. Kein Mensch weit und breit. Absolute Ruhe. Wenn man Hilfe braucht, nur kurze Nachricht an Christine, und sie ist sofort zur Stelle. Tolles Haus in ruhiger Umgebung

Der Urlaub war wirklich sehr schön. Wir haben als Familie mit 6 Personen und Hund den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Insbesondere Pool, Terrasse und das weitläufige Gelände sind klasse.
