The very quiet location and the lovingly furnished living rooms and bedrooms as well as the modern, generously equipped kitchen make for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Relax in the covered outdoor seating area with garden furniture and barbecue after a city or hiking tour. Dresden shines not only with its many historic palaces, churches and magnificent buildings, but also with its excellent cultural offerings and the "Großer Garten" with park railroad and gondola pond. Hiking trails through the royal Saxon vineyards to Pillnitz, the Meixgrund or the Borsberg are right on the doorstep and the historic old town of Dresden and the Elbe Sandstone Mountains can be reached quickly by car, bus or, for those who like it more romantic, by Saxon steamboat. Cycle tours on the Elbe cycle path to the old town, past the famous Canalettoblick or via Pirna to Rathen in Saxon Switzerland are scenically unique.
