Dublin One - One of the best

The room was clean, well furnished and well lit. The double bed was comfortable and had plenty of pillows and access to sockets for charging phones and tablets. There was a kettle and tea/coffee facilities - although this was not refilled during my stay. Bathroom was large with a walk in shower and fabulous Rituals toiletries provided. The hotel is 30 minutes walk from Temple Bar and the center of town, with lots of local stop off's on the way. The local bus and the airport express drops you off round the corner, and is very accesible.

Hotel was very clean and modern. Really nothing to complain about! Only thing we found odd is that they say you have to opt into housekeeping but we found that our room got serviced anyways.

The good: 6 minutes walking to Croke stadium, right by bus stops and great breakfast The bad: Small rooms, no closets and uncomfortable beds The ugly: we booked 3 months in advance for a 5 days stay. We paid a month in advance. We checked in on the day our reservation started but 3 days in, our dog got sick and we needed to return home a day earlier. I explained to the front desk that we needed to return home a day earlier and see if we could get a refund for the last day that we weren’t going to be there. They told me to write to reservations. I exchanged 6 emails with a reservation representative explaining the situation and they said that their cancellation policy doesn’t allow refunds, that changes to our reservation could be done 14 days prior to arrival! Well, I didn’t know my dog was going to get sick 14 days prior to us arriving!! I understand policies, and it was our intention to stay the whole time we reserved, but they didn’t budge. It was all about the money and none about caring for guests that stayed 4 nights and had an unforeseen situation.
