Inside of property is nicely decorated and lobby has a good atmosphere. We were able to check in a couple of hours earlier than advertised which was very helpful. Our quad room was spacious but warm. It would probably be unbearable in the summer as there is no air conditioning and the window is very small and opens only slightly. A fan was provided which didn't work but this was resolved quickly with a call to housekeeping. On checking out you are able to leave your luggage if you have a late flight. The lobby menu is good we had cream scones and tea which was delicious. While we were sat in reception a customer who was not happy with their booking was speaking to the receptionist. Unfortunately she did not manage to appease the gentleman and his concerns. When the gentleman left the hotel the receptionist very loudly made some derogatory remarks about the couple to her colleagues which we thought was very unprofessional and did not suggest the hotel takes pride in their customer service. A shame because most of the other staff we came across were very polite and courteous.
