As an American in Dublin for the first time for a family wedding, I did not know what I was booking. I received very little interaction from staff and cleaning crew. Do not book if you want to sleep at all. The noise from the bar below is unbearable. I wore ear plugs and ear muffs over my ears and as a man who can sleep thru anything and has, I didn’t sleep at all. The room and walls were vibrating. Definitely in the downtown area where apparently bars and music go well past 2 am. I was there for a wedding and thankfully I was moved to Kilkenny after three nights. Also, I didn’t realize till after leaving that their rates were basically jacked up two to three times due to football games and tourists to see it. After paying $600-700 for two of the nights, I left and paid that much to stay in a castle. I will not be back to this hotel. Thankful my wife had to cancel at the last minute because she would not have lasted five mins there.

Hotel is in a great walkable location near many points of interest in the city center. The street is very busy and music and noise from the outside is heard when window is open.

Long weekend at Temple Bar

Great hotel. Clean. Location is ideal. There’s a convenience store right across. The bar connected to the hotel is great too. Only thing to note is you can still hear a bit of the noise outside. The hotel did provide ear plugs. Noise is probably less if you stay on the higher floors.

Great location, worth the price

Fantastic room, fantastic location. This hotel room can actually fit 4 people in the room with large suitcases. The hotel is located at the beginning of the Temple bar area, so you were close to the action, biut not to the noise

The hotel was very well situated. Our check in went smoothly. The hotel room is very spacious and clean. However, be aware that the hotel is on a very busy street. It is very noisy at night with bars around and live music being played until 2am.

The beds were comfortable. There was an issue with the a/c at first but the mgmt was able to get it working. The hotel is in the heart of everything! We did not expect to park down the street and carry luggage over cobblestones. There is no bell service at the hotel during the week either so you can’t really try to double park in front of the hotel and drop luggage. The complimentary tea abc coffee in the reception was nice and of course everyone in Ireland including staff at this hotel are very friendly
