Great hotel located outside of the busy city centre. Quiet atmosphere and an amazing view. The breakfast was better than expected and the restaurant served some really nice food. It’s a luxury you can swim directly in the sea. Not so kid friendly, but this is only positive if you’re looking for a quiet hotel without too many kids.

The hotel is quite nice. Beautiful areas to sit and enjoy a fabulous view. There is the option of swimming right off the property. I wish I could have stayed longer.

We really enjoyed our stay. Check-in & out was fast & easy. Breakfast was wonderful and stuff very friendly. Grounds very pretty and accessible to water. Views were beautiful.

You cannot beat the location... a short walk to the beautiful walking path that surrounds the inlet and the direct bus to the Old Town is right across the street. Every room is waterfront with beautiful views and spectacular sunsets. There are several restaurants and bars within walking distance. The included breakfast was wonderful with several hot and cold choices. Would definately stay again.

Great hotel

I enjoyed my stay at the Splendid hotel. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. I found my room quite comfortable and I liked the balcony with the view over beautiful Adriatic. The bus stop was just short walk away from the hotel so getting to the Dubrovnik Old Town was quite easy.

The Hotel Splendid is an amazing property with the most stunning views. The staff were superb, nothing was to much trouble for them. Property is maintained inside and out on a daily basis. Transport to the old town and other areas is most convenient. The bus stop is right outside of the hotel. I will certainly stay here again. Thak you Hotel Splendid..

Overall we were very impressed with the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast and very good value to have it included in the price of the room. Great to have a balcony and sea view from the room. Very comfortable bed - the only issue with that was that the duvet wasn’t wide enough for the size of the bed - but slept well anyway! Loved the convenience of having the bus stop for the old town directly opposite the hotel. Really only one complaint - we arrived at the hotel around 10pm after travelling for several hours - hungry and thirsty and everything was closed. The gentleman on reception was very helpful and showed us on the map where we should be able to find a bar or restaurant open but unfortunately we didn’t. We feel it would be very useful for late arrivals to be offered some sort of refreshment- even maybe tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms and sandwiches. Other than that - everything was perfect and we will definitely return and recommend the hotel to friends.
