Staff were really helpful with local knowledge. Catching the number 6 bus was so easy and made travelling into the old town convenient. Loved that we were that little bit further out from the Hussle and bussle of the old town, but had great beaches/ beach clubs and some lovely restaurants close by. Property facilities were great, having a bigger gym would have been a personal preference.

The staff work hard to keep the hotel and its amenities clean. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. One item that was consistently disappointing was how often we were told we were unable to have umbrellas at the pool due to wind. 2 of our 4 days we were unable to have an umbrella. There is no other shade on their pool deck whatsoever, so if you’re being safe with your sun exposure, you essentially eliminate a massive and expensive amenity you have paid for. Of course the wind is not in the control of the hotel, but the umbrellas they purchase is. The connection between the umbrella and the base is only about 12-15 cm and it is not fastened in any way, so of course the wind makes it dangerous; it can just slide right off. We spent days at beaches where the wind was much greater than the hotel (we actually checked the weather app and are not just guessing) and we were fine to use umbrellas because they were fastened properly. One other frustrating aspect was that they throttle your ability to use your room’s air conditioning. The room got quite warm one day, so I asked about it and they changed the setting on the thermostat so I could set it lower. They were very helpful with this, but it was frustrating we had to ask. Overall, we had a good stay, and the staff do truly take great care to provide you with a clean and enjoyable experience, but there were a few unfortunate aspects about our stay that we don’t believe we should have encountered paying nearly 350 euros per night.

Brilliant relaxing hotel. Beautiful views from the pool areas, loungers always available. Convenient bus number 6 outside the hotel taking you direct into Lapad and also continuing onto the old town in 20-25 minutes. Lots of quiet areas within the hotel and grounds to relax and chill out. Couldn’t fault it, brilliant holiday. Fully recommend. Not for kids, stay in the sister hotel Lacroma for this.

A pleasant surprise for an airport area budget priced hotel. Low cost shuttle to and from FCO. Nice clean air conditioned (adjustable temperature) room. We walked a block away to a riverfront street lined with restaurants seafood and pizza especially. Authentic area not touristy. Desk clerk was pleasant and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Very happy here

Needs investment

The exterior of the hotel and all communal areas need serious investment to bring this back to a 4* hotel. There’s no sound proofing, mould on the walls near the patio doors with paint flaking off, dirty bath mats and a curtain that isn’t actually wide enough to cover the full window. Whilst the rooms have been modernised, this hotel is more akin to a 3*.

This hotel was amazing. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the amenities were great and the views were incredible. Being able to watch the sunset over the Adriatic Sea was one of the highlight of my stay. The only problem I had was the live music. Having live music is great and I really enjoyed it at 8pm but it was every night until 11pm in the courtyard right outside my balcony, which meant I couldn’t sleep until the music was over and everyone else had called it a night. Otherwise, a brilliant stay!

Everything about the hotel was great except the food. While most reviews brag about breakfast we found it to be very average for a hotel. The dinner buffet was not worth it at all.

Excellent hotel. The rooms are comfortable and the facilities are excellent. Only drawback is that you have to pay for sun loungers on the beaches. Otherwise cannot recommend highly enough.

Overall I would say this hotel was a perfectly acceptable place to stay, but I feel it’s overpriced for what it is. The good: - Multiple pools including an indoor one meant there was always space for a dip - The cleaning staff & lobby bar staff were friendly & attentive - The hotel grounds were well maintained - Eco-friendly focus - The hotel fed the stray cats in the area - The hotel had a good range of quality cocktails The not-so-good - Half-board included no drinks at all, even with your meal - Most of the grill and buffet restaurant staff seemed to resent being there - There was a bit of a breeze one day so they didn’t allow parasols which seemed like an overreaction for the mild conditions and meant we lost a day of pool-lounging - The evening buffet was a disappointment - lots of food but no congruency between them, and all the meats weren’t seasoned. I also had an unpleasant surprise to discover fish in the focaccia one day! Weird pairings… Overall not a bad hotel but I think you could do probably get better for the price.

Loved our stay here. The infinity pool had amazing views, was super cold, and a perfect way to cool off in the summer heat. Breakfast buffet was delicious. The Old City and Port Gruz were easy to reach by bus or by uber. Staff were super helpful and kind. Highly recommend.

Stunning hotel!

The hotel is absolutely stunning, especially at sunset! One of the rare times that the real thing absolutely lives up to or even exceeds the photos on their website. The pools are lovely and the cocktails are great! I can't wait to come back!
