My husband and I usually book self catering as we like to please ourselves. We also don't like to be directly in the centre of the Town, in all the crowds and are quite happy with a short walk to get to the things we like. This was a small family run hotel with a fully equipped kitchen that could be used by guests, and a lovely patio area in a quiet street just 10 to 15 minutes walk from the Pile Gate. (there is also a regular bus to the Pile Gate that stops close to the hotel) Antonio and his family were very helpful and kind and the rooms were clean, comfortable and air conditioned (a must in August). If you are like us, then this hotel is a home from home. Dubrovnick does have a lot of steps so it wouldn't be the best destination for someone with disabilities, but, if you are hale and hearty it's great.

Lovely stay

Had a lovely stay. The owner was so helpful he even drop us to bus stop for free. The hotel is just 20 min walk from the old town. Everything was perfect

If you using public transportation, (Hotel Lero) bus stop is only 200 meters away and only 60 steps, it is easy in town that has A lots of steps. Very easy access. Room was very clean. If we go back to Dubrovnik, we will happily stay in the same place.

Toni was the perfect host. He helped us when we needed something, he gave us tips and he even drove us to the bus station on the last day. The accommodation is in a more quiet location. You have to walk about 15 minutes to the old town, but it's a nice walk. Or you could just take the bus which stops close-by and directly drives to Pile gate. The accommodation had a beautiful terrace. There are various small shops and some restaurants in (short) walking distance. (Go to "El Toro", it's really price worthy). We would really recommend this accommodation!

Huhtikuinen matka Dubrovnikiin oli hieno. Huoneestamme avautui ovi suoraan terassille, jossa oli mukavaa istuksia ja katsella avautuvaa maisemaa. Hotellin isäntä oli todella avulias ja ystävällinen.

Einfache aber saubere Villa, etwas ausserhalb der Stadt. Aber gut zu Fuss oder Bus erreichbar, wir waren das zweite Mal in diesem Hause zu Gast und können es nur weiterempfehlen. Villabesitzer ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
