Only reason for 4 stars was due to some of the steep roads to get to the house. Bedrooms were very bright during the night with the street lights and during the morning. We loved the house and it was so charming!

We were in town for a funeral and found this house on vrbo. It worked out perfectly with plenty of space and the location was beautiful and convenient. Beds were comfortable and quiet. We will stay there again!

We enjoyed our stay at this well-kept clean attractive historic house with ample modern conveniences. There was plenty of room for the seven guests, including four bedrooms, chatting on the side porch, some watching the Olympics on TV and a great ample dining room table. Our family stayed at this house when we came to Dubuque to watch my grandson bowl for Clarke University. Close to CU, lanes, and eating and entertainment. Group of all ages stayed for weekend. We will be back.

We had a fantastic time in Dubuque. The home was fantastic and charming. The host was easily available and my guests and I had a relaxing weekend. Lots of extra rooms in the home and really great windows and views. Mid spring was a great choice to visit.
