Room 19-blinds had months(no exaggeration) of dust, toilet still soiled from previous guests, room noisy as facing main road. Bar had 3 attempts to pour a Guinness even although I advised there was no gas left. Didn't get the breakfast order correct either. Spoke with other guest who had 3 room changes in one night.Poor service from what was once a good hotel.

Friday night was horrendous, the crowd noise outside the room made sleep impossible. However, the hotel revised our sleeping arrangements and we continued on to have a great stay.

A full Scottish breakfast was available, but I'm not keen on baked beans,mushrooms at that time of the day. Waitress got me a hard boiled egg,bacon & sausages. All cooked perfectly. Everything I wanted,nothing I didn't want.

Clean room, well serviced and a good shower and well laid out, modern bathroom. The bedroom was very cold with windows fixed open and the only working radiator in the bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in the price, but this was not clear as the room menu had it priced, a bit confusing.
