The room is located in a great spot. The price and location is why we chose to stay. When we go there the room felt muggy and we noticed quite a bit of stains in the towels and bed. We had the maintenance man lend us a heater because the room one didn’t work. There is no coffee machine in the room. We still stayed for two nights.

Comfortable beds, reliable Wifi, no carpet. This location is an easy walk to the river trail, where you can see deer and the Durango-Silverton steam train. Great place to stay with dogs!

Knowing what I had paid, I had reasonable expectations and they were met. Coffee is absolutely horrible. Bring a blanket as you essentially have two sheets to cover with—the bed cover is basically a sheet. There is a refrigerator in the lobby building and that’s the only source for ice. Be prepared to get ice elsewhere. It is what I expected.

So I show up about 30 minutes early, Dave completely ignores me as I’m standing there. Then he finally goes “what do you need?” I tell him I’m trying to figure out where our room is so I can park by our room as my wife and two dogs walk around the city (reasonable right?) He says “check in isn’t until 3” I tell him I’m just trying to park and he says “I’m doing something really important” (I’d say this falls under doing your job) and so I had to leave for 20 minutes. Young lady who checked us in was very nice. But when we got to the room there was someone else’s stuff in there. Property is run down and there were some odd looking people around. It’s ok for a quick night’s stay. I wouldn’t recommend it for women traveling alone.

It’s an old, dirty, dingy place. You must not call it a hotel, hellhole may be. We were beat and tired hence we just slept and checked out immediately after waking up. We had no other option at the short notice and took chance but at what cost. Alas a terrible place to stay at unless you are broke as f and have no interest living your life.
