Lift wasn't working correctly, since door not shutting on ground level, I waited 5 mins on the 4th floor and them walked down (with a bad ankle). The lift thing happened twice.

The hotel has an absolutely unbelievable breakfast! We totally enjoyed the variety of food, different cream cheeses and jams, and a winner of all - German bread of various kinds. My husband and I especially appreciated smoked salmon and white smoked fish for breakfast. It's too bad we only had a 1-night stay due to our itinerary plans.

Great Breakfast

I have regularly stayed in this hotel in Dusseldorf. The rooms are always clean. The room I stayed in had a balcony. Check in was quick, despite only making the booking about 10 minutes prior to arrival. The breakfast is always the highlight with a large choice of dishes, despite the hotel have a small number of rooms.

Exceptional, clean hotel

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Everything was exceptional, extremely clean, had an elevator and parking options on site. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly. The breakfast was very very good, home made jams, bacon, eggs, sausages and many more things offered. I would stay here again when I return to Duesseldorf.

The hotel was in a good location in Duesseldorf with some trendy-looking cafes, restaurants and shops nearby; it was a 15-20 minute walk to the Altstadt either through the Hofgarten or along the Uferpromenade. The room and bathroom were very comfortable and clean and there was also a balcony which would be pleasant in the warmer months. The breakfast selection was wonderful with a wide variety of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, bread and homemade jams. There was a huge range of cold meats, cheeses and bread toppings as well as boiled/scrambled eggs and sausages. To drink there was a variety of teas and fruit juices as well as coffee! The hotel also had a very pleasant sauna area which was very clean and well maintained, you just have to give 20 minute notice prior to using the sauna for it to warm up. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and were on hand to give any information on the local area if required.

good to have balcony, tea/coffee facilities and minibar in the room. room was a little small for having a child with travel cot, but fine for a couple. garage at the back of hotel was useful and cheap. breakfast was excellent however the atmosphere seemed very quiet, some of the guests looked horrified that there was a toddler in the same vicinity as them. all the staff however were very friendly. would stay again

Nice Hotel. No Air Conditioning

Very nice hotel. Newly remodeled, very clean. Only downside is that there is no Air Conditioning in the rooms.
