Welcome to our Classic Family Cottage in Haliburton County, ON.

A beautiful wooden cottage, with the touches of modern living, located on a quiet and peaceful lake.

Enjoy breakfast on the deck, coffee on the dock, a large flagstone firepit for evening campfire and smore's as well as a canoe, kayaks, and paddleboard for tons of daytime fun!

Feel at home with modern appliances, a well-stocked kitchen with coffee, tea, spices, oils and other staples. The building has a water filtration system, (including reverse osmosis), AC, heating, dishwasher, and very capable wifi (25mbps) for working, streaming, and staying connected.

Stocked with board games, card games, a bluetooth sound system with Smart TV, and an array of reading material, there's no shortage of fun activities to do!

Located on a quiet road, we are a short drive to Haliburton, Eagle Lake, Minden, as well as the Haliburton Forest and countless local shops, artist galleries and hiking trails (use the AllTrails App to find the best trails)!

On site propane means no need for filling a tank or worrying about running out of propane for the family BBQ, so you can just enjoy being at the cottage without having to run out for propane.

We provide linens, towels, and an array of life jackets of different sizes.

Perfect Stay – Highly Recommend! We had a fantastic time at this Cranberry Lake cottage! It was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. Highlights included coffee on the deck, super quiet surroundings and great fishing off and around the lake. The location was peaceful yet close to Haliburton for all our needs and the owner’s communication was excellent. We left relaxed and can’t wait to return!

Well stocked and beautiful kitchen, watersports, firepit, tv/internet comforts!

We came for 3 nights with two kids age 8 and 10. Immediately got into cottage and settled in. Kitchen is well stocked. Internet was easy to use. Watersports kayaks and canoes ready. Had lovely evening campfires too despite cold weather. Host was responsivw

Beautiful Cottage

Cranberry Lake retreat

This cottage is a jewel in Haliburton. We kicked off the summer here and enjoyed all the property had to offer including kayaks and a paddle board. The Owner had the kitchen stocked with seasonings, pasta, unlimited coffee, condiments, butter etc all available for our use. High class cottage that I highly recommend!

Relaxing vacation

What a wonderful stay we had at your cottage! It was clean with a well equipped newly renovated kitchen. The deck is large and great to BBQ and eat outside. We enjoyed the canoe and kayaks on the peaceful lake. The loons, heron, ducks, kingfisher, and even deer were fun to see. We swam at the end of the dock and relaxed in front of evening campfires. We thank David, Rosa and Eric . In short, we would definitely recommend this cottage.

Relaxing

Had a great time. Cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. Property is spacious and has a fair amount of privacy. Very quiet area. Canoes, kayak and paddle board were all made available. The nearby village has some of the little things you might need and Haliburton has everything else. Overall, a great property at a great location. Highly recommend.

Home away from home

It is exactly that. HOME AWAY FROM HOME. Well stocked in the kitchen all you need is your perishables.Beautiful view of the lake. Very relaxing and David was very reachable and accommodating. Will be back next year.

Great stay!

We had a very nice stay at David's cabin. Kitchen was wonderfully stocked including some food! Every amenity we could think of was available (lots of great touches). We even managed to do level 1 charging (120V ~12A) with our car from the very nearby outlet. We spent our time at the cabin grilling, swimming, paddling. In short driving distance we explored some trails, the wolf sanctuary and a couple of breweries. It was a great getaway this summer (though I could imagine it working quite well in other seasons).

Beautiful Stay

We loved every second of our stay despite the provincial fire band, their was so much to do, swim, relax, paddle board or canoe . The water was incredibly warm and it is a very quiet lake. The house has all the comforts of home yet feels cozy like a cottage. We will be back.
