A lovely spacious hotel that was spotlessly clean. The room was plenty big enough complete with a desk and seat, the bathroom was a very good size and again spotless. A large carpark and a restaurant on site with plenty of options for evening dining and a very good selection of hot and cold breakfast options. This hitel is also a great place to stay for Southampton visits and was nice and convenient for a overnight night stay before our cruise leaving from Southampton. We would definitely stay here again

Room 208 It was very cold in the room. The tv remote fell between the beds, I went under to retrieve it and it was disgusting. It had not hoovered in a very long time. The beds were very very uncomfortable, with big dips in the middle and the pillows were lumpy and bumpy. I had the worst nights sleep.

Room was spotless only complaint I have was nothing to do with room or service just a constant banging and thudding noise on and off literally all day from approx 6am till 9 pm no building work taking place wasn’t room doors don’t know if coming from kitchen or gym . Son was there to rest before brain operation and the constant bang and thudding noise spoilt the overall stay at the hotel for rest and relaxation

Good but noisy.

The hotel was clean and the staff lovely. The rooms had everything you needed. The only issue is noise, if you are on level 2 you will be woken by the gym music just after 6am. This happened every morning, there should be better sound proofing, one person described it as a gym with rooms rather than a hotel with a gym.

Good hotel, comfortable spacious room with good amenities (though a glass bathroom door is always a little off putting even staying as a couple). Cleanliness could have been better, generally fine but the shower tray didn’t look like it had been touched (hair and dried shampoo). Quick and easy room service through QR code in the room though expensive for the quality & portion size. Comfortable bed so good nights sleep and decent breakfast.

Consistently Amazing & Reliable

I will keep coming back to Village Hotels because they are consistently good! I’ve stayed at three different locations now, and the best bits are: amazing waterfall shower, spacious and very clean, as well as a very comfortable bed, not worn and lots of pillows. Staff are great, and breakfast was great!

Always nice at Village Hotels. This was a disabled room, I was fine with that as it was a very nice clean room, however, the furnishing were so spartan, there wasn’t anywhere to put my case or anywhere for my wash bag in the bathroom. The gym on the 1st floor was clearly heard on the 2nd floor.

I stayed In room 522 make sure when you stay in your room you wash out the cups and glasses as our has dust in them. Also our room was opersite the lift so we heard everyone using it day and night. So annoying. Next to the lift on the 5th floor opersite our room was a locked cupboard I'm guessing it had the electrics init for the lifts. It was buzzing all night. So we didn't sleep much. Shame really as everything else was good. Pool area and changing room nice and clean. For a meals there is very expensive.

So, so…

It was ok, not as good as other Village hotels I’ve stayed in. Food in bar was below average 3 out of 4 nights and alcohol prices are increasing. Bar manager on shift Thursday evening, needs some people skills training, obviously promotion has gotten to her head.
