We were looking for a large comfortable house for a family holiday on orcas Island. The house easily accommodated five adults and three very active children, who loved exploring the area. The kitchens (up and down!) were well equipped with everything we could have needed, and the outside grill worked great.

This was a lovely property for a large group. We were all able to hang out in the living and dining area comfortably, and enjoyed the peaceful view from the upper deck. It was nice to have a grill to use as well.

Family reunion

It is a great, roomy house. We had 7 in our group. There are lots of dishes and cooking items, nice showers and comfortable beds. It is a little run down and the front yard is overgrown. The windows need cleaning, the rest was clean. But overall a nice house, really like 2 houses on the 2 levels. Very quiet with beautiful views. I highly recommend it and love Orcas Island. You can go island hopping for free! Also, the return trip to Anacortes is free.

Orcas Swan Lane

This is the second time our group has enjoyed this lovely country setting in the heart of Orcas Island, the location is perfect for accessing many spots on the island. The two kitchens and outdoor space make it a perfect spot for relaxing and entertaining. The property manager Jessie is an excellent host and made sure we were comfortable and happy, Thank You!

Nice property for a large group or multiple families. The upstairs/downstairs layout allowed our teenagers their own space but there was plenty of room to have everyone hang out in the common areas. Easy to find, check in was great and the property had everything you need for a weekend get away. Only a short ride from the ferry.

Great Place for a Family Get-Together

We had a mini family reunion while on Orcas & this property was perfect - big enough for everyone to stay in one place, a well-equipped kitchen (2 actually!) for preparing meals & some small sports equipment (like badminton racquets & birdies, balls, etc.) for outdoor activities. The beds were pretty comfortable & there was room for everyone to hang out. I would definitely stay here again if we're on Orcas with a large-ish group again.

Family adventure

The location was great to access all of the highlights on the island. The indoor space was great for our family to spread out. The outdoor space allowed us to play volleyball, badminton and hang out on the decks. Lots of stargazing at night.

Family delight on Orcas Island!

Quick Orcas Getaway

The property is great! A lot of space for several people to hang out and either be together or spend some time alone. The location is easy to find, and nicely situated on the island to get to Eastsound or Moran State park. We had a really wonderful time.

Perfect Retreat

The house was perfect for our family stay. We loved cooking together in the spacious kitchen and also used the bbq for family meals. The location was perfect for our day trips to explore the island. There are not many houses for a larger family group on the island so we would recommend this home for your stay. The property is well maintained we enjoyed eating on the patio and star gazing at night.

Spacious house with great yard

We rented this house for a weekend with six adults and a 3 year old, and we had plenty of room. The yard has lots of activities and amenities to keep a kid busy. House has two full kitchens, which was nice.

Comfortable, quiet family home

Cedar Field house is a well cared for older home in a rural setting close to the main road to Eastsound. The location was wonderful because it is quiet and private but also it is close to town and many of the special places on Orcas Island like Moran State Park. The house accommodated our family of six adults, one baby, and three young kids very well. It’s actually two houses in one because both the upstairs and downstairs have kitchens, bedrooms, living/dining, and bathrooms. We all enjoyed staying there and wished we could have been on Orcas longer.

Large, comfortable house

We had a lovely family reunion at this large house, with plenty of room to spread out and relax. The beds were comfortable and the whole house was very clean. Our host Jesse was very responsive and answered questions immediately. With 2 walk-in showers and the ability to enter the house from the ground level, those with slight mobility issues can be accommodated. Sports equipment included (croquet, badminton, volleyball, horseshoes) gives plenty of opportunity to play together and get those ya-yas out! Very quiet and private location. We enjoyed our stay!

Working on Island

I sent a crew for a project on Orcas, they said everything was beautiful! Its a little remote but they were fine with that since it was near the jobsite. One item for future would be a stronger wifi connection (had issues keeping up with the tv apparently) but that may be the best the Island offers :)
