Sehr schöner Aufenthalt

Tolles Haus, schön saniert und ein schönes sauberes Zimmer. Das Bett war total bequem, das Badezimmer mit Dampfdusche ausgestattet, die wir allerdings nur ohne Dampffunktion genutzt haben. Der Empfang durch die Besitzerin war sehr freundlich und die Kommunikation im Vorfeld bez coronaauflagen unkompliziert. Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr schön, und unserer Zimmer (102) sehr ruhig. Absolut weiterzuempfehlen 👍

Nichts für warme Tage!

Die Lage zentral in Edenkoben ist sehr gut, preiswerter eigener Parkplatz. Die Zimmer sind klein, die Möbel für eine Woche Aufenthalt aber ausreichend. Das Laken für das Doppelbett war etwas knapp, morgens hat man auch schon mal auf dem Matratzenschoner gelegen (wer vor mir???) Aber! Das Gebäude ist alt und wahrscheinlich unter Denkmalschutz, weshalb es keinerlei Wärme-Dämmung zu haben scheint. Die Pfalz ist bekannt für ihre warmen und oft auch schwülen Sommer (das kann ich beurteilen, ich habe seit früher Kindheit bis zum 19. LJ alle Sommer dort verbracht). Das ganze Haus war in der zweiten Etage (unser Zimmer). unerträglich heiß. Statt in eine völlig überflüssige high-tech-Dusche (die sowieso niemand bedienen kann, Erfahrungswert) hätte man besser in eine einfache zwei-Komponenten-Klimaanlage investieren sollen, mit einer entsprechenden Planung geht das auch unter Denkmalschutz-Bedingungen. Immerhin hat man uns bereits bei Anreise (also war das Problem bekannt) einen kleinen, aber etwas lauten Ventilator hingestellt. Im Sommer werden wir dort sicher nicht wieder buchen!
