Spectacular. Location was perfect. Condition of accommodation was 5 star. Spacious, well furnished, kitchen was fully functional and included a dishwasher. Absolutely would stay again.

Our unit was just as in the pictures - it was nice and cozy. The kitchen cupboard was a pleasant surprise. The bed seemed slightly larger than other properties. Our unit was up 2 long flights of stairs (no lift), so be prepared. It is on a quiet street and close to Princes St and a ton of restaurants and stores. The shower was roomy, but the shower hardware was a bit flimsy. Overall, I would recommend.

Great location and pretty decor BUT a lot of gotchas .. 1. Only electronic access through a link to the apartment and they won’t give you a code unless you call 6 times (the link stopped working 2 days in). If you don’t have 4/3g or WiFi you can’t get in! 2. Dust was everywhere 3. Maintenance was pushy about coming into our flat even though we said no 4. Apartment wasn’t stocked with basics like napkins, more than 1 loo roll, etc 5. You can’t change the temperate in the flat! The device is locked, so crazy

Edinburg ligt op een heuvel. Wees dus voorbereid dat je her en der wel wat heuveltjes op en af moet. Vooral als je naar het historisch centrum op de Royal Mile gaat. Dit appartement is ideaal gelegen op loopafstand van winkels, horeca en het treinstation. Het is een keurig appartement met een slaapkamer met tweepersoonsbed en een soort bedstee met een gordijn ervoor in een half open ruimte achter de woonkamer. Het appartement is voorzien van een kitchenette die in de woonkamer staat en gesloten kan worden met kastdeuren. Het voorziet in de basisbenodigdheden voor het maken van een maaltijd. Het heeft 2 elektrische kookplaten, een kleine afwasmachine, koelkast, een fluitketel om water te koken en een soort kan om een soort opgietkoffie te maken. Wij hebben geen radiatoren gezien, behalve in de badkamer. Wij vonden het een beetje fris in het appartement. Het terras is prive. Er zat wat schimmel in het douchegedeelte van de badkamer. De verhuurder is een bedrijf. Er is geen persoonlijk contact tenzij je zelf contact met ze opneemt. Je wordt geìnformeerd via standaard e/mails. Op sms, mail, of vragen via Expedia wordt zeer traag of niet gereageerd. Misschien dat ze telefonisch sneller behulpzaam zijn maar vanwege de taalbarière is dat niet voor iedereen een optie. Maar wij zouden dit appartement zeker aanbevelen voor een ieder die in Edinburgh op vakantie komt.
