While this hotel is perfected situated in a great location on the Royal Mile, the hotel, itself had many issues. First of all, our room had so much water damage in the bathroom and around the windows that I worried about my family's safety. The towel heaters were disabled, and the thermostat could not be adjusted, at all, which resulted in the room being way too hot for comfort for most of our stay. There was mold everywhere throughout the room, and the hotel only offered to clean once during our entire 11 night stay. The floors were absolutely filthy with debris and dust, and no dust mop was provided to help keep it clean ourselves. There was blood on the wall of the bathroom when we first arrived in the room. Although about half of the staff were friendly and helpful, the other half were cold, uncaring and unmotivated to help fix, amend or help with our complaints. If you are looking to stay in this area of Edinburgh, I would suggest that you look for different accommodations than this hotel.

Over all great hotel stay, breakfast was excellent not overly huge but has a good choice for all, choices from cooked to continental. The bathroom however could have been cleaner, I did take photos and feel this may have been an over sight as the bed and rest of the room was spotless, the glasses at sink had toothpaste marks inside still, like they had been forgotten about, the toilet had a mark on the rim and a public hair, the door handle of the inside of the bathroom was grungy, however like I said the rest of the room and all appliances where spotless, the bed was a perfect firmness, the hotel at night is very peaceful and relaxing, we would definitely stay again, and I have recommended this hotel now to a few friends in our group chat. Oh and if your a UK citezen this hotel requires ID even though it doesn't state that in the booking, thought that was a bit strange, was in the Hilton and they didn't need passport.

Excellent location, clean, well laid out unit with kitchen. However there was not enough heat. We froze the first night and no heat in bathroom towel rack to warm that room. we were told they were disconnected as they were a fire hazard with no date for repair. Hotel staff advised that they hadn't gotten around to posting notices about the lack of heat

This hotel is a gem, is on the royal mile, just outside the of the crazy, you can walk everywhere. The breakfast was amazing, and the breakfast staff was the so kind and considerate. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful as well. The rooms have everything you need. My one and only complaint is the mattress was a little uncomfortable, I was able to sleep but my fiancé had a hard time. Either way, I loved it would definitely stay there again.

Price was very reasonable for such a great location, walking distance from many amenities/tourist attractions! The apartment was very clean, modern, and cozy. The location is excellent, at the end of the Royal Mile, very close to the Waverley Station. There are restaurants, pharmacies, and grocery stores very close. The breakfast was good. Overall was a great experience, we enjoyed our stay and we would love to stay there again.
