Absolutely loved our stay. Convenient to Edinburgh (by car), great staff but what made our stay special was the property itself - absolutely beautiful... it's like being transported back in time. The setting is beautiful - so peaceful and the gorunds are beautiful.

Everything was perfect!! I had always wanted to stay in a Scottish castle and this one was perfect and just outside the city. We drove about 10 minutes to the train station with free parking and then it’s about a 10 minute train ride to Edinburgh. The rooms were very cute and spacious. The food was outstanding! We did afternoon tea with a view of the garden and could not have asked for a better experience.

This was my third visit and it’s the reason I return to Scotland. The property is so unique and I always have an amazing time, so much so that I took my nephew from London! The team did a great job looking after us! The lady who checked us in and delivered our breakfast in the morning was a real gem; I can’t remember her name- but she was a genuinely lovely lady and I’m sure it won’t be long until we return!!!
