Perfectly acceptable hotel. Clean, very comfortable bed. Fine for a night's stay when travelling. However room very tiny, not much bigger than the bed. More of a pod than a room. Very pricey for the space.

You have to know the easyHotels. There is not much space in the rooms but it is absolutely okay for a weekend - if you spent most of the time out, want to to be centrally located and just just need a bed to sleep and a shower. If you are looking for a hotel were you also want to feel more comfy this is not the one for you. The view to the castle from my room was lovely and the staff is nice and helpful.

Although property was small, it had almost everything I needed, except electric tea pot. Very clean. Bathroom similar to boat bathroom where shower is with toilet, approx 2sq feet. A large person would have difficulty. Bed comfy, great view of castle, staff friendly and helpful. This hotel is one step up from hostel-w en-suite head.

Fully aware of the size of the property before booking but clearly there has been some issues with water overflowing in the past as the floor was all damaged from water and soft in one location. The shower did have water come back up out of the drain and since the shower/bathroom is a shared floor space that was rather unpleasant. - Think of an air place bathroom as comparable in style and feel but all made of plastic with an added 2.5 shower added in. Not having any heat controls for the room was also unusual. The lights for the bathroom tended to shut off randomly. Location wise absolutely amazing! But the water damage and plumbing is why it is receiving a less than awesome review.

Wall super thin, can hear everything for then rooms near you, light in the bed room was constantly on (very low lever and a flashing green light right about the bed all night non stop) Room was so small could hardly fit two people in it.

The rooms are tiny, as advertised, and I expected that. The hotel has 3 floors with no lift, appears to be former residences with the floors divided into about 9 rooms per floor, with two on each floor facing out the front to Princes Street which was quite noisy except after around 3 am. Good for 1 or 2 nights if you don't mind the lack of space.

The room is described as small; it’s a cabin size ok for one night. Expensive for what’s on offer but then again that’s Edinburgh, hotels are ridiculously overpriced. Cleanliness was poor given its size, it would take 5 mins to clean it
