I'll break this down into the good and bad:
Good:
Our stay at easyHotel Edinburgh was perfect for our needs for this trip. We got off the train from London to Edinburgh and the hotel was a mere 15 mins. walk from the station. If you can't walk from the station, or you're going to or from the airport, there are trams & busses galore stopping just minutes from the hotel door. The place is tidy, clean, and presentable, with lovely desk staff that were friendly to deal with. For our few days in the city, it was a great layover to rest our heads at night and the view from our room of the castle and city was phenomenal (YMMV here depending on room). The beds were decently comfortable, although they are coil spring and not memory foam or a thick cushion top. Everything functioned save for 1 light bulb over the bed that was really inconsequential. We were in the city specifically to take in Fringe and some of the major historical attractions for only a few nights. And this where we transition to the bad;
Bad:
This room is SMALLLL. I mean like you could just barely walk past the bed, and you were using the toilet with your feet in the shower pan (1 unit shower/toilet almost like would be in a small mobile home/camper van). The doors didn't even open fully due to the size constraints. We're a fit, tall couple travelling with only 1 suitcase and couple small personal bags. A larger person(s) or even a couple travelling heavy, this room is NOT gonna be for you.
4 stars for us, YMMV.
