Hotel looked lovely from outside When you arrive in our room it wasn’t the cleanest. Dust everywhere. There was 3 of us staying in the room. So a sofa bed had been pulled out but was a little too close to the double bed. So we pulled the other side of the sofa bed out. Omg the rubbish was unbelievable. The mattress was disgusting marked and stained to hell. Bathroom needed a clean l. Rooms need a good clean and a refit for the price we paid. Breakfast not the best.but depends on what you like Bacon under cooked baked beans burned on the bottom of pot. No veggie sausages did say they were on the menu. We paid premium because Robbie Williams was in town just short of £600.

Property is needing a good upgrade. The ceiling was all patchy and in need of painting. Broken lamp, toilet barely flushed. Bathroom door was warped and peeling. At £350 per night I was more than a little disappointed

The location is great. Next door to the zoo and multiple bus stops nearby, making for easy transit to different locations throughout the city. Not easily accessible for strollers or wheelchairs (lots of steps to get to the entrance doors unless you go uphill around the building). Breakfast buffet was inexpensive but the food was not very good. Convenient but limited food options and the quality and taste of the food was mediocre at best. The cost for the room was extremely expensive, probably because there were multiple events going on in the city the weekend we were there (over $1K USD for one room with breakfast). We did have a family room and that was nice, as we had multiple beds, which made for a more comfortable stay with three adults and a child in the room. Overall, not a bad place for a short stay, but definitely over-priced for the quality of what we paid for.

Great place to stay with the family. Directly next to the zoo and very close to the Edinburgh sites and sports grounds. Rooms spotless and had a recent revamp. Nice yo have a pool too. Will definitely stay again.

Upon arrival, our bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. We were tired and wanted to shower and go to bed but had to wait for someone to come clean the bathroom and give us clean towels. When we asked for some sort of reduction in our bill, they said only Expedia could do that since we went through that app.

I love this place. All of the staff are so kind, professional and helpful. I love all of the programs and services that they provide as well. The bus stops are right in front of the property so it's only a 2 min walk from the building. The morning buffet's decent, there's plenty of chocies for meat, I just wish they had more vegetables and salads.

Room stank of stale cigarette smoke, car parking on arrival very limited due to use of hotel car park as overflow for adjacent zoo, approach and entrance to hotel tired, unkempt and under maintained, staff in bar/restaurant very unattentive, and slow, room rate was over priced for standard of accommodation and service provided.
