This was a wonderful hotel! A modern space in the heart of an old city, it felt fresh and comfortable. The shower was excellent, and the entire room was well-designed and inviting. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the stay even better. The only downside was that my room did not have an outlet near a mirror, which made it tricky to blow-dry and curl my hair. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again—it was a great experience.

This is a basic hotel. If you want a great location and not too worried about room size (it’s small) or no window and only a skylight (with no blind on it) then throw is for you. Amenities are minimal at best and staff at the front desk are ok. Location is the selling point for this hotel.

Absolutely perfect location

Very happy with the location considering Coburn Street is my favorite… But everything is close by if you stay at this hotel, I can tell you the rooms are nice and clean. I had a quiet room in the back well decorated… Nice place for drinks or breakfast in the morning.

This hotel was very conveniently located in the Old Town within minutes to the major attractions. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved the bar and lounge area for nightcaps and the bartender was great!

Close to trains, trams, and busses...easy access to all the sightseeing. Very nice place with great breakfast menus. Windows of some rooms are exposed to sidewalk traffic, and ours had an every evening bottle/can drop from the pub behind us...but after the firdt time, it actually made us laugh and became part of the charm of an old city. Don't drive! No parking and it's more fun to hop a tram anyway. Loved it!

Good reception staff. Room was ready but the room itself was tiny with only a roof light - no window or view of any kind. For the price it was poor The window light shutter didn’t work. The doors all seemed to slam so we were woken throughout the night with slamming doors

The hotel is modern, clean and in perfect location. Our room was perfect and very large. The staff working the counter could have been more welcoming. We were never greeted or even looked at when leaving and returning to the hotel.

Location was excellent...walked everywhere and had fun exploring the nooks and crannies of the alley short cuts. We did have a 9:30 pm bottle and can dump from a pub right outside our window...but it became a point of laughter rather than an annoyance. Loves the place, great breakfast, lots of cool pubs Would stay again. Oh, forget about a car...trams and busses are the way.

Convenient and nice.

Nice place to stay close to the royal mile. Our room was pretty small and bathroom was snug. I assume that is just a part of staying in Edinburgh. No complaints because we spent most of our time out.

I was only there for one night. Pretty lobby and bar. Very small bedroom. Noisy room. Good value for the money. Breakfast was not included. Close to train station.
