I really enjoyed my stay here! The location was just outside of the busy area so it was quiet, but not to far a walk from any of the sight seeing I had planned on doing! Staff was very helpful with absolutely everything including parking. An issue with the TV came up and they had it fixed less than fifteen minutes later. The room was clean and had lots of space! I would definitly stay here again!

Good location and beautiful hotel. Lovely lounge area and the rooms were decorated nicely. We had an apartment which had a kitchen and laundry. Unfortunately we had electrical issues with the laundry and were unable to use it as it kept knocking out power off. The sofa bed was in the living room/kitchen area and did not have blackout shades so it was difficult to sleep when the sun came up at 4:30am. Quiet location. Would stay here again.

Very poor communication. Our suite had a washer dryer combination for our reservation, but the dryer never worked. Checked with the front desk and they mentioned a maintenance person would come to fix it. This person never came and then when we checked again on Saturday the front desk mentioned they do not work on the weekends. We were told they were coming each time, but they never showed up. Front desk lady was not helpful at all Very, very hard beds.

Convenient, well-equipped but potentially noisy

Good location in a generally (relatively) peaceful part of central Edinburgh. Unfortunately having a basement room right on Queen Street and sash windows only nominally sound proofed by secondary double glazing, sleep was disturbed by carousers outside my window. Otherwise a convenient location and new looking decoration was good. I’d stay again if I could be sure of a high floor room at the back.

The hotel staff will not help customers solve the room problem, they just tell you that they can't do anything, instead of helping customers solve the problem or give a solution. For the same price, I was given a cramped room on the first floor below ground. And the room window was open when I entered, which was not safe. And the room temperature was very low, and the air conditioning took a long time to work. They ignored it and said that if you are not satisfied, you can contact to complain but there is nothing we can do.

The hotel is well located and walkable to Edinburgh sights and restaurants. The apartment-style setup was convenient for making simple meals, relaxing after a day of sight-seeing and doing laundry, which added a lot of flexibility. There were some initial security concerns but the staff addressed them promptly and professionally, which I appreciated. While there’s no turndown service, the front desk is always staffed and helpful if you need essentials. Overall, a decent option for your visit to Edinburgh.
