A beautiful georgian property. High ceilings and big windows. No lift but help offered immediately with our luggage. I noted a large car park, tram and Bus routes but we walked everywhere...... just 15 mins from Princes st and Waverly.

Great location and staff. Property is well kept. Within walking distance of the tram and Waverley train station. Be aware that there is no lift/elevator, so you will need to take the stairs. Single room is small and basic, but it's all you need to shower and sleep. My room was on the street side and had a bright light right outside the window; better blackout curtains would have helped at night.

The room was very large with a little sofa, table & chair, desk and chair, TV and the beds were quite comfortable. Internet worked great for us. They didn't really have a "dining room" however you could eat in the lounge and they had several comfortable sitting areas on the main floor. As we were out and about we didn't actually eat at the property so I can't speak on the food. The hotel is close to the bus & train stations and very walkable to shops and parks. There is no elevator however the staff brought our bags up to our rooms for us. The terrace area was super quiet, serene & relaxing. The only thing I think would be nice to add to the rooms is a little fridge to be able to keep bottled water, a sandwich etc in. Having said all that the staff really makes this hotel ... they were AMAZING! so friendly, personable, helpful, accommodating, quick in response to all queries and always smiling (even while hauling our heavy luggage up the stairs).

All staff members were super friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. We particularly enjoyed spending time with Shea. The only minor issue with the room was that an explanation of what had to be done for the lights to work was not given upon check-in. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
