We’ve stayed at the Courtyard a number of times while in Edmonton. It’s well located for us with easy access for clients. There are a good number of quality eateries in the area that you can walk to, and many more a short drive away. The hotel is quite new, clean, with great staff and a restaurant on site. The amenities are pretty standard, there is a pool and workout room. The rooms are quite spacious, especially the one bedrooms. The fridge could be a little larger in our room, and the shower head needs a good clean as it’s partially clogged and needs more water pressure (Room 337). We will most certainly stay again!

I have been staying at this property for quite a number of years on my trips into Edmonton and I have noticed a general decline in the condition of the hotel. Not to an alarming rate but to somewhat lower standards than I expect for a Marriott property. This stay was only for one night, but my usual stays are for 3 and if you are staying for more than one night they do not provide maid sercive for you. What's with that?

Seating arrangements in the room were not comfortable for us as seniors. Work desk chair was stiff and uncomfortable and sitting comfortably in big round chair was impossible, could not rest back and feet did not reach floor. Chair would be good only if you are young and can curl up in it, or 6 foot tall. We appreciated the grab bars in the bathroom, but they would be more helpful and safe if they were in a better position. Other than that, staff was very helpful and friendly, beds were comfortable, though pillow would flatten out with minimal pressure.

Quick check-in. However, the staff forgot to give us our breakfast cards, no wifi information! We are 5 people and they put towels only for 3 people, and need to ask every time! Breakfast was ok!
