Guest access
You'll have full and private access to the entire home throughout your stay, including all 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, the fully stocked kitchen, all living areas, the private 6-person hot tub, barrel sauna, patio with BBQ and fire features, in-suite laundry, and the secure 2-car garage. The home features self check-in via a secure keyless entry — your access code will be provided after booking, giving you the flexibility to arrive at any time with no key coordination needed. Please note that exterior security cameras are located at the front and back of the home for the safety of both guests and the property.
Other things to note
🔎 IMPORTANT NOTES & POLICIES - PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING
HOT TUB:
- Hours of operation 8 am - 10 pm a night
- The hot tub temperature must be set between 35°C to 40°C (95°F to 104°F) to maintain an optimal level.
- Hot tub is intended for registered guests only during the duration of their stay
- Please use the washroom and shower prior to using the hot tub to minimize amount of deodorant, oils, cream and dirt etc. that end up in the water.
- Hot tub sessions are to be limited to 45 minutes or less
- Only potty trained children should be allowed to use the hot tub
- No glassware in the tub or anywhere near the hot tub area
- Please make sure to only wear proper swimwear in the hot tub as regular clothes leach detergents into the water which creates excessive foam.
- No food or other drink permitted in the tub
- Do not remove the chlorine or pool monitor from the hot tub
- Cover is to be placed back on after each use
*If glass or other debris are found in the hot tub, a full drain and clean will be charged to your damage deposit of $500
SAUNA RULES:
-Hours of operation 8 am - 10 pm
-Sauna is intended for registered guests only during the duration of their stay
-The sauna temperature must NOT be set above 120°C
-Sauna sessions are to be limited to 30 minutes or less. For first-time users, we recommend sessions of 10–12 minutes only.
-Do not dry clothes, towels, or other textiles inside the sauna. Excess moisture may damage the wood, and fabrics placed near the heater may create a fire hazard.
-Never place combustible or flammable materials on or near the sauna heater.
-Rinse or cool down with water between sauna sessions.
-Always make sure to drink plenty of water or mineral-rich fluids after use to stay hydrated.
-Only pour water onto the heating stones using the provided ladle.
-Do not use gasoline or liquid ignitors, paper, cardboard, or garbage in the wood burning sauna
⚠️ PRE-ARRIVAL REQUIREMENTS (AFTER BOOKING) ⚠️
To ensure a smooth and secure check-in, ALL guests must complete a short pre-arrival process AFTER the booking is confirmed. TThis verified process keeps everything platform compliant and ensures a worry-free stay for both guests and hosts.
Here's what to expect:

‣ Damage Waiver ($56-82 depending on length of stay) – Covers accidental damage up to $700. (No deposit hold required) OR
‣ Refundable Security Deposit ($700) – Pre-authorization only; collected 24 hours before check-in and released 5 days after checkout if no damages, missing items, or issues.
❗ Please note: a 2% payment processing fee is retained by our payment processor — this means the refunded amount will be $686 CAD rather than the full $700. This fee is charged by the processor and is outside of our control. If you cancel your reservation before the deposit is processed, you will not be charged this fee.
❗Please note: The damage waiver covers accidental damage only. It does not cover smoking, intentional or negligent damage, policy violations, or pet-related issues. Such costs may be charged separately. By booking, you confirm your agreement to these terms.

‣ A valid ID and selfie are required to verify the booking guest and ensure the safety and integrity of our home.
⏰ EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECK-OUT
‣ We are strict on check-in and check-out times due to cleaning needs, but may allow up to 2 hours of flexibility with at least 24 hours' notice. A small fee may apply and is subject to approval, as early arrivals or late departures aren't always possible. If the home is ready sooner, we'll let you know.
🧳 LOST OR FORGOTTEN ITEMS
‣ Please double-check before leaving. Items left behind are stored for 14 days, then donated or discarded. Coordination for pickup or return will incur a shipping and admin fee. We are not responsible for items left, lost, or damaged after departure.
📦 MAIL & PARCELS
‣ We do not have access to a mailbox at this property. Please do not use our address for receiving mail. If you require postal service, contact a local post office for options. For larger parcels, arrange door drop-off or depot pick-up. We are not responsible for retrieving, storing, or replacing any mail or packages that are lost, delayed, or mis-delivered.
🛠 MAINTENANCE & ACCESS
‣ Emergencies may require entry without notice. For non-emergencies, we will always provide notice where possible. Guests will always receive a message from us as soon as possible in all situations.
💳 CANCELLATIONS
‣ We follow our posted cancellation policy, please ensure that you read and understand this policy at the time of booking. We strongly recommend obtaining travel insurance to protect against unexpected cancellations or travel disruptions.
⚠️ LIABILITY, VIOLATIONS & LEGAL NOTES
‣ Guests are responsible for their group. The property owner and/or management company is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage. Please report any damage promptly and return all provided items to avoid additional charges. Legal action may be taken for chargebacks or unpaid damages, including recovery of legal fees. Violations of house rules may result in immediate termination and removal without refund. Please remember you're staying in our home, not a hotel, treat it with care and respect.
