We were given Rm 222 and after we were unpacked and ready to watch TV, there was no sound. Went to front desk and we ended up have to pack back up and move to Rm 134. When we made the reservation, we indicated we needed a room where no pets had been for at least 1/2 months. When we got in Rm 134, we knew there had been pets there. We could not sit on the sofa with itching. We put the bedspread and blanket on there so we could sit. We took extra Allergy meds. We could not wait to leave in the morning. At breakfast, everything looked good, the area was very clean, there was a nice assortment of foods. The breakfast lady was in there quite often making sure things were clean and replenished.

This property was conveniently located with easy access on and off the highway, but it still felt safe and secure. The morning staff was above and beyond friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast room attendant. Our room was sparkling clean, spacious, and quiet. This will be our go-to stop in Effingham.
