Disappointing stay.This was an expensive property but did not live up to its price point.From the day of check in until our 4th and final day we were attempting to solve problems. Thus our time was spent communicating with the remote property managers remotely based in Florida. I suspect neither the management company nor the property owner inspected the home.The air conditioning was not operational from our first afternoon until our final day. There was an enormous hornets nest outside the entrance, making it impossible for us to use the fire pit and a patio for the first day.While we were able to establish frequent and reliablecommunication with the property management team it became difficult and fragmented via voice, text and email. Therefore, the problem with the air conditioner did not get reconciled until our last night. For the second to last evening, they brought in window based air conditioners, which were replaced on the second floor with the majority of the sleeping areas on the first floor so while it was a reasonable attempt to be helpful it didn’t rectify the problem.We reached out to the property management company and asked for compensation, but they’re only offering was about a 10% refund, which is the equivalent of their rebooking rate.After asking to be compensated, the property management company did not return subsequent communications.Otherwise, or stay was consistent with other reviews we read. Price point is high.
