Casa El Comisario is located in a secluded area in the neighbourhood of El Tanque Alto, in the municipality of El Tanque. It is the house where the hostess's grandparents used to live, so the structure, style and decoration are typically Canarian. Once you enter this house you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity it transmits. It is ideal for hikers and walkers due to the proximity of places to enjoy this activity. It is necessary to remember how humid the area is because it is in the midlands and surrounded by mountains, so all the studios are equipped with dehumidifiers.
The hostess is a gardening enthusiast, so the accommodation is full of flowers and plants, mainly endemic, and you will probably see her and her family sometime in the area, as they also live here.
In the neighbourhood there are areas of great interest such as the Mirador de El Lomo Molino and the Mirador de La Atalaya. There are also many footpaths leading down to Garachico. It has easy connections with public transport although we recommend coming by car or renting one.
