Do you really want to switch off? - Then you are exactly right with us. There is a lot to discover at the Elsbacher Hof. Close enough to touch: cows, calves, cats, pigs and our farm dog Henry. While your children romp outside on the farm's own playground with a large climbing tower or experience the nature, you can really let go and enjoy your free time, because our farm is surrounded by meadows and pastures, away from any traffic in a district from Erbach in the Odenwald. Cycling and hiking trails can be found right outside the door. Our comfortable apartments are modernly furnished. Please note: Only one dog is allowed.

Super Ferienwohnung!

Die Ferienwohnung ist geräumig und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Alles war sauber und die Gastfamilie ist freundlich und unkompliziert. Sehr ruhige Lage. Von dort aus haben wir tolle Ausflüge gemacht. Obwohl wir dort keinen Mobilnetzempfang hatten, fanden meine Teenagermädchen die Unterkunft klasse.

Gute Ferienwohnung

Die Ferienwohnung hat uns insgesamt gut gefallen. Sie entspricht der Beschreibung, ist idyllisch gelegen, modern gestaltet und die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich, zugleich aber auch sehr zurückhaltend (es gab in der Woche nur wenige Begegnungen). Das Hofleben drängt sich einem nicht auf - man muss hier als Gast schon selbst aktiv danach fragen. Schlaf- und Badezimmer - bekanntlich die wichtigsten Räume - gefielen sehr gut. Einige Kleinigkeiten könnten noch verbessert werden: Es hätte etwas mehr Besteck geben dürfen und die Restmülltonne war ziemlich klein bemessen, speziell für Familien, die Kinder in Windeln haben. Die Spielgeräte außen sind schon etwas betagt. In punkto Sauberkeit geben wir 4 von 5 Sternen. Vereinzelt zeigten Spinnweben und Staubflusen auf, dass in der Kürze zwischen den Wohnungswechseln zu wenig Zeit ist, alles zu schaffen. Sensible Stellen wie das Bad präsentierten sich jedoch sehr ordentlich. Das Publikum in den anderen Ferienwohnungen war sehr unterschiedlich. Auffallend war, dass in der Woche zwei von fünf Wohnungen von Handwerkern bewohnt wurden, die offenbar in der Region Aufträge erfüllen. Dadurch waren natürlich auch weniger Familien mit Kindern auf dem Hof. Es war aber ein sehr ruhiges und freundliches Miteinander. Ein Hinweis zum Raumklima: Durch die Lage im Dachgeschoss wird es im Sommer sehr heiß. Bei Temperaturen zwischen 20 und 25 Grad lässt es sich am besten aushalten. Die Dachflächenfenster lassen sich mittels eingebauter Rollos völlig verdunkeln. Elsbach hat mit dem Käs-Back eine urige Waldgaststätte in Fußreichweite zu bieten. Ansonsten braucht es jedoch einen PKW, etwa um Brötchen zu holen oder Einkäufe zu erledigen. Empfehlenswert ist der Besuch des nahen Wildtierparks. Dieser befindet sich zwischen Elsbach und Erbach. Es war ein guter Aufenthalt und wir können die Ferienwohnung weiterempfehlen.
