Very clean room & comfortable bed. Our room was at the far end & street noise was negligible mid-week. --The refrigerator motor tends to turn on frequently & noticeable during the night, so the next night we turned the temperature down.

During my stay at University Inn & Suites Eugene, I experienced extremely unprofessional and hostile behavior from a front desk employee. What began as a calm question about parking escalated into a threatening phone call, yelling at the front desk, and comments about my payment that made me feel unsafe. My husband was forced to leave abruptly despite prior approval to visit. Later, after accidental spills and a child becoming ill on bedding, I was willing to pay reasonable cleaning fees, but instead I was denied access to my room, had my belongings bagged and placed in the lobby, and was effectively removed from the hotel. The situation felt humiliating and wildly disproportionate. As a veteran and repeat guest, I was deeply disappointed by how my family and I were treated. I will not be returning and do not recommend this property based on staff conduct and lack of professionalism.

We stayed for one night to attend an event at Knight Arena. The front desk staff was warm and welcoming. The property is older, and could use a little cosmetic updating, but the room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable and the location across from the arena was exactly what we wanted. We had no complaints about our stay and would stay there again.
