Everything was great for the value. The only issue I noticed was when people are showering in other rooms close by, there is a loud noise in the pipes that sounds like drilling, which is disruptive when people shower early in the morning. Not sure if that happens in every room or if it was just in my room that I could hear that noise.

The room was so modern- vinyl tile on the floor, beautiful furnishings, right by a great fish house. Absolutely spotless!! Please stay here if you’re visiting Redwoods National Park area.

The interactive kiosk was a little much, especially with staff onsite. The breakfast consisted of 2 different flavors of mini muffins, 2 types of breakfast bars and apples. That's not really breakfast. I called the front desk because the toilet was plugged and the kiosk told me to come to the office and pick up the plunger to unplug it myself. the floors were laminated flooring that could really have used a sweeping. Parking was so close I cvould barely get out of the parking spot. We probably won't stay there again.

I have stayed here frequently over the past 20 yrs and have always found Anchor to he a reliable place to stay. But this trip was different, from the inpersonal check in to the dirt towels and pilled bed linens, it appears the owners no longer uphold the standards I ahd grown accustomed to.

The facility was easy to find, was clean enough, but their top duvet was ripped and had serious snags, it was also covered in strands of hair. The windows had black mold growing in them. We asked for an ocean view. If you stood in the corner of the room and looked to the side of building we could see the bay. 6.5 out of 10. The price was too high for the quality of room. Lastly, a kiosk with a remote clerk checked us in. That felt scammy.

Our view was adequate, with a partial beach view. I did not like the virtual checkin. I prefer a face to face experience. The breakfast was a joke with dry muffins and stale granola bars. This in my book does not constitute a breakfast of any sort. It would have been more honest to say no breakfast was offered. Under amenities listed was a hot tub, no such service was available. This was a plain case of a bait and switch advertisement. I will never return to this hotel.
