Seems like it's gone downhill since my previous stay there. Had no shower towels in our 5th floor room and seemed like no one had stayed in that room in awhile?? Went to lobby to grab a snack and a beer before we left for a concert we were there for. Sat down at a table, neither bartender or front desk asked if we wanted anything after making eye contact and waiting 10 minutes so we left and went to a bar. At check- in and out the desk person had zero personality. Never asked how was our stay or anything, just said they would email my receipt which I haven't received yet. Breakfast food was cold, and the help was putting stuff away as people were still coming in about 8:50. Previous experience was great but this one left a lot to be desired. Overall I'd give it a D

Nice Hyatt Place for a quick stay in Evansville. My husband and I were in the area to go to an event at the Ford Center. We arrived after the 4:00 check in time and joined many other travelers waiting on rooms to become available. We waited over 40 minutes. The clerk at the desk was checking people in and working at the bar simultaneously. Bet he was glad when his shift was over.

Although the hotel was a little difficult to find, it was worth it! Nice and clean room, friendly staff, delicious breakfast. Right in the historic district, you can walk the areas on and around 1st Street, go to downtown and go to the river walk. Would stay here again.

The property is well cared for. I did not like the meal I ordered via room service the salad came without dressing and lettuce was not best quality for the high price. Menu needs more options.

Nothing bad, just pricey for what it was. Guise is that it’s upscale but it’s just pretty average. Downstairs was well maintained and nice, staff was friendly, breakfast bar was very active (very diverse - omelettes, porridge, mounds of bacon, pancakes I think, cereal, full fruits (apple/orange/banana), pastries and juices/coffee). Bathroom was clean, room just seemed kind of dated but clean. I think the couch folded out to a bed (could feel the frame). Surprisingly noisy in the room. I would probably stay at the brand again in general but for the price I would personally go for something else, especially in the area - total stay for one night was around $263 after taxes and fees so a $50 breakfast for one and an in-room couch doesn’t justify the price (otherwise very standard room). If it were in the price point it should be like $150ish I would giving raving reviews. I’ve stayed at five stars that were not much more in price that were in higher marquee areas than what I paid for this room.
