Adjacent Pike National Forest offers treed hillsides, scenic trails, moose habitats, and even a seasonal waterfall. You can even hike all the way to Mt. Sherman if you like.

Altitude Notice: With the cabin’s high-altitude location (11K feet), guests should acclimate upon arrival. We recommend drinking plenty of water, limiting alcohol and caffeine, and taking it easy for the first day or two to ensure a comfortable stay. The whole area is high altitude with Breckenridge at 10K. If anyone in your group has been or may be affected by altitude, we recommend staying at a lower elevation.
