GUEST ACCESS:
Guests have full access to the home, with the exception of two locked owner closets located in the upstairs bedroom.

We provide all essentials, including linens, towels, cookware, dishes, utensils, and access to the washer and dryer for your convenience.

Wi-Fi is available via Starlink, offering good speeds for streaming and video calls. However, remote work and online gaming may be limited.

Cell service is generally good but can vary by carrier. Please note we can’t guarantee uninterrupted phone or internet connectivity due to the rural location.

SECURITY CAMERAS:
For your safety and ours, there are exterior-only cameras at the front entrance (facing driveway), carport, and back patio. The back patio camera may capture VERY limited views of the grill and hot tub area. We do not actively monitor footage and only review it if there’s an alert—such as an undisclosed pet, multiple unapproved vehicles, or extra guests. Footage is never shared and is used solely for security and liability purposes. Please do not tamper with or obscure the cameras. Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS:

**Travel Tips

Winter driving: Colorado traction laws may apply; 4WD/AWD strongly recommended. Check the CODOT website for current requirements.

Fire bans: Currently in effect—no outdoor wood-burning fires permitted (propane fire pit provided).

**Rural Location
Fairplay is a charming mountain town, but shops and restaurants may close early or on certain days. Please plan ahead/see their sites.

** Wildlife Awareness
Bear, Moose, elk, and deer are common visitors! For safety, please don’t leave food, trash, or wrappers outside or in vehicles.

** Water System
The cabin is on a well system with a high-end filtration system (installed Oct 2023). Water is tested annually and meets all safe drinking standards.

Bring fishing gear for the nearby private pond, or explore National Forest trails right from the property—perfect for hiking, biking, or snowshoeing depending on the season.
