The motel was great, the amenities were amazing and the service was fantastic. I would defiantly recommend
The diner however was not so great. The food was very good but the service was shocking. We had to wait a while to get seated for dinner, then we had to wait to get are drinks and food order taken. Then after we ordered we had to wait ages for our drinks even though we could see that they were left up on the side. Then after getting our drinks, my partner was given a 'free birthday ice cream' before we had our mains! then after this we were given the bill!! I told the waitress that we had not even eaten yet which she then replied that we were third in the queue so it won't be long. Another 30 minutes went past, we had both finished are drinks and were still waiting for our food. Someone finally came back over to us (I think a manager) asking if we had eaten and we replied no. They then went and bought us our food 5 minutes later - luckily she told us that we did not have to pay. The food is very good but the service is just something else - I understand that it was busy and maybe understaffed but being bought out a dessert and then the bill before the main is just crazy. The next morning we went back for breakfast and the service was a bit better but we were still waiting for ages for our drinks and food. Again, we had already finished are drinks long before we got our food and the people who were seated just before us had eaten and left before we had even got our food.
